Fleet and Supply Chain client that is based in
Isando is seeking a skilled
Training and Development Coordinator to join their team.


Purpose of the job:


  • Design, develop and implement training and development programmes within the company including the development of the training Academy, Graduate Development Program, High Performance Teams program
and various other training and development initiatives.

  • To provide training as identified by the line functional managers emanating from the Performance Appraisal process.

Requirements:


  • Must be a qualified assessor or moderator or studying towards a similar qualification.
  • B Com or business related qualification


  • Training development qualification

  • Advantageous
  • Accredited Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) certification will be an added advantage
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a learning and development position
  • 5 years training design and development experience
  • At least 3 years prior experience in coordination and administration of Learnerships and NQF products, including SETA Interaction.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide strategic approach to training, development and assessment of skills and knowledge needed to develop, grow and retain talent within the organization.
  • Assist in the inception and development of company training academy which incorporates various training programs.
  • Identify training and development needs through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers and human resource Executive.
  • Consider the costs of planned programmes and keep within budgets.
  • Develop effective induction programmes for new staff and graduate trainees.
  • Monitor and review the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers.
  • Produce training materials for inhouse courses.
  • Create and/or deliver a range of training using classroom, online and blended learning.
  • Manage the delivery of training and development programmes.
  • Ensure that statutory training requirements are met.
  • Evaluate training and development programmes.
  • Amend and revise programmes as necessary, to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment.
  • Help line managers solve specific training problems, either on a onetoone basis or in groups.
  • Keep up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, going to meetings, and attending relevant courses.
  • Provide Quality Assurance assessment and retraining programs in conjunction with the internal audits and the Iso audit team etc.

Salary:

R R35 000 per Month
