    Job Title: Business Development Manager

    Description

    To drive business growth and deliver integrated facilities management services to clients, you will establish strong relationships within the public sector and leverage technical expertise to navigate FM industry dynamics.

    Key Responsibilities

    Strategic Sales

    • Increase profit levels through innovative ideas, new business, and client spend enhancement.
    • Understand customers' businesses and strategies to create partnering concepts.
    • Develop and execute public segment plans to generate resources and revenue.
    • Pursue and engage potential clients in facilities management services.
    • Draft, review, and submit high-quality proposals for facilities management services.
    • Engage with strategic suppliers to partner for solution proposals.
    • Analyze and negotiate commercial models with partners for optimum solutions.
    • Identify new opportunities and execute initiatives to accelerate growth and increase market share.
    • Recommend selling techniques based on researched market propensities.

    Sourcing New Business

    • Identify leads, markets, and business opportunities through research of the facilities management industry.
    • Provide forecasts and maintain prospect information using outsourcing tools and processes.
    • Develop cost calculations and provide prospects with favorable quotations.
    • Negotiate terms of the business development agreement and close deals.
    • Represent the company at trade exhibitions and events.

    Client Relationship Management

    • Develop, manage, and grow sound business relations with clients.
    • Communicate effectively between clients and the company.
    • Visit prospects for new business and coordinate client site visits.
    • Engage with internal clients to ensure accurate business transactions.

    Reporting

    • Provide monthly reports on pipeline business.

    Requirements

    Matric (Senior Certificate)

    Bachelor's Degree or National Diploma in Sales, Business Development, Project Management, Supply Chain (preferable)

    Valid SA Drivers' License

    4-6 years relevant experience

    Solid knowledge of Business Development, market trends, and best practices
