As a Junior Accountant, you'll have the opportunity to work remotely while collaborating with our Clients and the Advizeo Team.

Key Responsibilities:
Order and Invoice Processing:
- Confirm and process purchase orders in a timely manner.
- Issue accurate invoices without delay.
- Utilise Omni for comprehensive order and invoice management.
- Match invoices with purchase orders and receipts to ensure transaction integrity.
Stock/Inventory Management:
- Maintain exact records of stock levels.
- Work with client teams to validate stock and rectify any discrepancies.
Customer and Retailer Relations:
- Streamline the onboarding process for new customers.
- Keep customer and retailer contact details uptodate and readily available.
- Sustain professional and effective communication with all stakeholders.
Debtor Account Management:
- Manage and prioritise debtor accounts, focusing on retailers and individual customers.
- Generate and send out monthly statements, ensuring payments are received promptly.
- Perform account reconciliations to maintain the accuracy of financial records.
Creditor Account Management:
- Track and document incoming invoices using Xero.
- Coordinate payment lists to guarantee timely settlements with creditors.
- Address and negotiate supplier queries and payment terms effectively.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Report to Advizeo management on client financial status and insights.
- Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to collaborative projects.
- Pursue professional development opportunities offered by Advizeo to enhance your skills.
Requirements:
- A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Prior experience in accounting and finance roles are preferred and demonstrate your practical understanding of processes.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g.,
XERO) and MS Excel is essential to ensure efficient and accurate financial management. - Strong analytical skills and problemsolving abilities are crucial for effective decisionmaking and identifying areas of improvement.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy to maintain precise financial records and generate reliable reports.
- A solid understanding of South African accounting principles and tax regulations is necessary to ensure compliance and provide accurate advice.
- The ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks will contribute to your success in this role.
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills are vital for working effectively in a team environment and building strong client relationships.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, will enable you to convey complex financial information clearly and professionally.
Salary:
R7, R8,500.00 per month
