Are you ready to take on a dynamic role at JD Tech as a Buyer? We're seeking a motivated individual to join our team and drive the procurement of cutting-edge technology.

As a Buyer, you'll optimize supplier relationships and effectively manage sales and margin to achieve our goals.

Kindly be aware that our compensation structure extends beyond a fixed salary. In addition to a base salary, we offer performance-based commissions. Furthermore, there are additional incentives based on the sales generated by your branch

Are you a passionate leader with the following qualifications and experience?

Qualifications:

  • To be considered for this role, you should have a Matric certificate, with a Buying/Procurement/Business Diploma or degree being advantageous.

Professional Expertise
:


  • A minimum of 35 years of experience in Buying & Procurement within the retail sector is required.
  • Merchandise experience within FMCG is beneficial, along with a proven track record of managing stock files to meet budget and targets.

What will you be doing?

Merchandise Key Dials Optimization:

  • Achieve NSS targets.
  • Track stretch rebate targets.
  • Monitor provisions.
  • Conduct range reviews.
  • Maintain service level targets.
  • Utilize BI tools.
  • Prepare Range Review Document.

Sales and Gross Profits Optimization:

  • Achieve Sales and GP Budgets.
  • Utilize Sales and GP Balancing Matrix.

Supplier Relationships Optimization:

  • Enhance Supplier Relationships.
  • Manage trade agreements.
  • Provide Supplier Feedback.

Customer Service:

  • Foster Customer-Centric Culture.
  • Manage relationships.
  • Communicate issues.
  • Conduct store visits.

Team Membership:

  • Uphold Professional Standards.
  • Conduct Regular Meetings.
  • Adhere to Processes.

Marketing and Promotional Advertising:

  • Maximize Promotional Effectiveness.
  • Submit Advertising Briefs.
  • Monitor Market Dynamics.
  • Plan Promotional Space.
