exists for personnel with previous aviation and related experience in
the Public Safety / Law Enforcement sector. The position focuses mainly
on onsite UAS "drone" flights / PIC for select clientele.

This position will report to the Head of Department: Airborne Operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Flight Operations: Planning, execution / oversight, and reporting.
• Communication with clientele and other roleplayers; i.e. FACT, ATNS, SACAA, etc.
• Post flight administration and reporting.

Requirements:

• Previous Aviation Experience; CPL preferred, RPC or PPL minimum.
• General radio licence preferred.
• Good foundation knowledge and understanding of the UAS "drone" industry in South Africa.
• Code B drivers licence
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (mandatory) and Afrikaans (preferred)
• Willingness to work shift type hours and weekends / public holidays, as well as standby shifts.
• Clean criminal record - mandatory requirement
• RPC MR with BVLOS - preferred additional qualification
• AVSEC - preferred qualification
• Medical Class 3 minimum - mandatory requirement
• PSIRA Grade C, CRM, ICS 100 - preferred additional qualifications

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Cape Town, Western Cape: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Aviation: 2 years (Required)
• Security: 2 years (Preferred)

• RPC (Required)
• PSiRA (Preferred)
