    Role Description

    The Financial Modeller and Pricing Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining financial models to support Tenders/RFQ's, Quotations, strategic decision-making, and analyzing commercial contracts and deals to maximize profitability.

    This role reports directly to the Senior Commercial Manager for Sales and works closely with various departments including Business Operations, Procurement and Finance.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Develop, maintain and update pricing models to support the sales & marketing team in tenders and proposals, business planning, valuation, and decision-making.
    2. Review tender requirements and pricing models required to develop a commercial / pricing model responsive to client requirements, while meeting business objectives and ensuring targeted Revenue, GP's and commercials are met.
    3. Analyze complex data sets and financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management.
    4. Convert large RFQ's into figures through Excel.

    Commercial Analysis and Modelling

    1. Manage and present commercial models to identify areas to maximize profitability or minimize risk.
    2. Report on all commercial metrics including revenues, margins, benchmarking, quarterly and annual projections.
    3. Track Soft and workplace related requests/calls effectively.
    4. Work through large contracts efficiently.
    5. Break down complex costing for proposals while maintaining an understanding of commercial needs of the business.

    Stakeholder Engagement and Presentation

    1. Present financial and commercial analysis and client financial models to internal stakeholders, including senior management, to drive business decisions.

    Compliance and Reporting

    1. Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    2. Prepare monthly and quarterly reports as required.

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    1. Advanced Excel skills.
    2. Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
    3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    4. Technical competency (Engineering).

    Essential Competencies and Experience

    1. Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
    2. Strong attention to detail with a High level of integrity and confidentiality.
    3. Ability to work long hours, especially during critical periods.
    4. May be required to travel for business meetings and events.
