Payroll Administrator - Franschhoek, South Africa - Vine
Description
Our client in Franschhoek is looking for a hardworking, reliable and trustworthy Payroll Administrator that can work well under pressure and can function independently.
Duties includes:
- Assist with the administration of wages (fortnight and monthly) which includes leave, savings, pay slips and monthly procedures
- Acting as a "Back up" for Senior Payroll Administrator
- Assist with audit administration, also includes: Labour audits and Financial audits
- Pension funds and general policy administration
- Filing
- Leave administration
- UIF administration
- Provide general admin assistance for Senior Payroll Administrator
- Assisting managers/wage staff with payroll queries
Requirements:
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English and good communication skills with employees on all levels
- Matric qualification is required, tertiary education will be an advantage
- Good numeracy skills
- Good computer skills : Excel, Microsoft office
- Must have previous experience in working with Sage People Payroll System
- Confidential information must be respected
- Previous Human Resources administration background would be an advantageous
- Own transport
- Work well under pressure
- At least 3 years' experience in an Wage Payroll environment
- Experience within Agricultural environment advantageous
