Junior Fleet Controller
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Fleet Controller to join our Client's dynamic team in Rustenburg.

As a Junior Fleet Controller, you will play a crucial role in the efficient management and coordination of a fleet of vehicles.

The Fleet Controller oversees all aspects of fleet operations, including planning and scheduling, vehicle maintenance, driver management, compliance with regulations, optimizing of routes, monitoring of vehicle conditions, and ensuring timely maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities
1.1. Develop plans for fleet operations, considering factors such as vehicle availability, maintenance schedules, and driver assignments.

1.2. Create and manage schedules for vehicle dispatch, pickups, and deliveries.

1.3. Optimize routes and assignments to minimize fuel consumption, reduce mileage, and maximize efficiency.

1.4. Coordinate and schedule routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs for all fleet vehicles.

1.5. Monitor vehicle conditions and address any maintenance issues promptly.

1.6. Collaborate with maintenance teams and external service providers to ensure timely and effective repairs.

1.7. Oversee driver assignments, ensuring proper training, licensing, and compliance with safety regulations.

1.8. Monitor driver performance, including adherence to schedules, fuel efficiency, and compliance with company policies.

Provide guidance and support to drivers, addressing any concerns or issues they may have.

1.9. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to minimize expenses.

1.10. Monitor and analyze expenses, providing regular reports and recommendations to management.


Qualifications
I. Matric (Grade 12)

II. Valid Driver's License

III. 2 years' experience in fleet management, logistics, or transportation operations

IV. A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, transportation, or a related field is preferred.
