Maintenance Technician to join their team in Cape Town to ensure the effective maintenance of all processes and service-related equipment.

DUTIES:


  • Corrective & preventative maintenance program recording and completion
  • Implementation of preventative and or corrective measures
  • Contribute to plant availability of at least 95.5%
  • Drill down to technical aspects of field of specialty
  • Participate in problem solving, improvement and or cost saving projects / initiatives
  • Follow work instructions relating to the QMS system
  • Adhere to cGMP policies and procedures
  • Raise requisitions on ERP Financial system for purchasing / ordering requirements
  • Identify improvements & assist in implementation
  • Initiate nonconformances, SQAs and completion of forms
  • Train contractors / fellow employees on permit systems and / or equipment usage
  • Assist Manager with stock keeping, record keeping and training of contractors / personnel

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Qualified and trade tested mechanical / millwright / mechatronics
years' working experience in mechanical, millwright & mechatronics maintenance

  • Knowledge of GMP and ISO requirements
  • Experience working in a cGMP environment (advantageous)
  • Experience with freeze, dry and refrigeration maintenance (advantageous)
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Projects)
  • English writing skills with good documentation practices
  • Willing to be trained as First Aider / H & S Rep / Fire Fighter
