Description

We are a pharmaceutical company based in Midrand that requires a plant maintenance manager.

The person must have the ability to run projects, budget, manager staff, source parts and equipment. Be able to think on their feet and not be a clock watcher.

Must be self motivated, reliable and able create and contribute to documentation and learn on the go

Job details

Direct and coordinate both repair and preventative maintenance requirements for all equipment in the plant.
Support continuous improvement efforts: propose and implement continuous productivity, efficiency and quality improvement actions for the facility.
Support the development of target material & information flow analysis and plant layout.
Develop capital budget requirements to adhere to established facility standards.
Define and monitor quality, cost and delivery objectives given to external companies when intervening: subcontracting, ordinary and major maintenance actions, energy, security systems.
Direct the management of spare parts and consumables warehouses for the plant.
Recommend safety policies and assure safety/legal controls are tested and reliable.
Ensure the continuous development and coaching of maintenance & manufacturing engineering team.
