Job Title: Production Foreman

Location: Ficksburg, Lesotho

Company transport provided.

About the Role:

We are seeking a Production Foreman to oversee the production process at our manufacturing plant in Lesotho. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of production staff, ensuring that products are manufactured to the highest quality standards, and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and report assembly and quality problems to the Factory Manager and Quality Foreman.
• Implement and maintain corrective and preventative actions as advised by the Factory Manager and Quality Foreman.
• Ensure that finished products are correctly identified.
• Ensure that all relevant work instructions and quality instructions are available before starting the production lines.
• Implement and maintain safety and health standards per the OSHACT System.
• Maintain production records and general housekeeping.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Trade test (Millwright/Toolmaker) and 3 years experience in a Supervisory role within the Production/Manufacturing environment.
• BTech. Mechanical Engineering and 1 year of management skills in the Production or manufacturing environment.
• National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and 2 years of Management skills in a manufacturing/Production environment.
• BEng Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and proven Leadership capabilities.

Requirements:

• Solid production supervisory skills and capacity.
• Ability to supervise and work with people.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member.
