    We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Communicate Recruitment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Service Centre.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Administrative Support: Provide various administrative services, including records management, routine correspondence, and coordination to ensure the efficient operation of the Service Centre.
    • Workshop Management: Oversee the functionality of workshop equipment, including tools and specialized machinery, to ensure optimal performance.
    • Inventory Management: Manage and monitor inventory for repair kits and parts, both locally and internationally, to ensure timely delivery of services.
    • Asset Fleet Management: Track and manage the asset fleet, including loan equipment, to ensure efficient use of resources.
    • Record Keeping: Update and maintain records and databases, adhering to established administrative systems and processes, to ensure accurate information.
    • Customer Service: Address inquiries, escalate issues when necessary, and ensure accurate information is provided, including handling customer feedback, complaints, and supplier interactions.
    • Sales and Marketing: Handle sales responsibilities, including counter sales, preparing service quotations for all service centers, generating service leads, and ensuring purchase orders are received for ongoing jobs.
    • Field Services: Provide administrative support for field services, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
    • Facilities Management: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Service Centre, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular forecasts and reports on the workshops current status, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
    • Compliance and Governance: Adhere to and maintain established procedures and policies to ensure efficient operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

    Requirements:

    • Qualifications: BEng/BSc/BTech in Mechanical, Mechatronic Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
    • Experience: At least 0-3 years of experience in a similar role, with extensive experience in service center planning and management.
    • Skills: Microsoft Office Suite Proficient, with advantageous skills in SAGE X3 and Advanced MS Excel.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Residency: Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
