As one of the top tourist destinations in the country, the Franschhoek Wine Tram offers a unique experience to both international and domestic clients wishing to experience the Cape Winelands.

We are seeking a skilled host/guide for the business.

Host/Guides are to provide excellent levels of care and service to all visitors - striving to create a tailored experience for each visitor, as a proactive and engaged member of the team.

At all times ensure that visitors have a safe and enjoyable visit, in accordance with the Visitor Experience operating guidelines.

Host/Guides undertake a stewarding role as requested and under the direction of the Service Manager or designated manager. This will include checking tickets, directing visitors, answering questions and making sure that all areas are clean and presentable.

Key Responsibilities:

Effectively communicate with the service team and guests.
Work with guests to ensure correct and accurate communicate is provided to facilitate their experience.
Welcome and advise visitors on service.
Provide assistance in other departments as and when required
Proactively build good product knowledge.
Conduct daily checks within the service department.
Contribute the success of the service team through attention to detail and commitment to the role as directed by management.

Qualifications and Skills:

Completed National Senior Certificate (NSC).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or hospitality
Able to use of Microsoft Office tools (Excel and Outlook).
Problemsolving skills and capacity to work under pressure.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary:
Market-Related
