    Job Title: IT Stock Controller

    About the Role

    We are seeking an experienced IT stock controller to join our team in Halfway House, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of goods and inventory, maintaining accurate records, and providing technical support to end-users.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Read and interpret error codes on devices
    • Swap out hardware components as needed
    • Analyze faults using diagnostic tools and software
    • Assist support staff from other service providers
    • Work flexible shifts, including staggered schedules
    • Oversee the storage and control of company stock
    • Maintain detailed records of new and returned stock
    • Manage inventory ordering and storage processes
    • Update records and maintain accurate inventory levels
    • Apply common inventory management techniques
    • Produce regular reports on IT stock and trend analysis of device failures

    Requirements

    • 2-4 years of applied skills and experience
    • A+ certification or equivalent work experience (minimum 3 years)
    • Completion of required training and certifications to perform warranty repairs on HP, Dell, and Lenovo devices
    • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems for issue resolution and PC rebuilds
    • Familiarity with OSX, iOS, and Android operating systems for best-effort support
