Purpose of the position


The Marketing Administrator is responsible for driving the growth of the brands within and outside our organisation - Century City Conference Centre, Century City Hotels, Apartments and Restaurants, ensuring all aspects of the marketing activity is implemented and measured.


Responsibilities & duties

  • Assisting with executing the marketing and communication plans that have numerous audiences, messages and execution across multiple platforms.
  • Coordinating the planning and execution of content creation as well as the liaising, briefing and debriefing external agencies ensuring delivery in adherence with brand guidelines and property positioning.
  • Maintain and manage the administration of the marketing department ensuring all deadlines are met
  • Assist with developing & implementing marketing activities, including event strategy, aiming to engage with locals and increase capture ratio from inhouse guests.
  • Together with the operational business heads, drive brand activation and ensure the brand experience comes alive.
  • Support meetings and events and the sales team with the creation of marketing collateral and tactical promotions associated with the key market segments
  • Assist with all local promotional activities that support the needs of the business. This could include photoshoots, broadcasts, celebrity interviews and other specific events that require personal attention.
  • Monitor and measure all marketing activity & present regular status reports on the success of the marketing activity for their business area

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and ATTRIBUTES

  • Minimum of 1 years' experience in a similar role
  • Industry related experience will be an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and a design software
  • Experience with brand management on social media is an advantage
  • Experience with Word Press is an advantage
  • Good communication and report writing ability
  • Creative
  • Be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
