Senior Tax Compliance Officer - City of Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa - CA Financial Appointments
Description
My client, a mid-tier Accounting and Auditing firm in the Southern Suburbs, seeks a Senior Tax Compliance Officer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Individual
- Complete Tax Schedules, Income Statements, Assets & Liabilities Statements, Asset & Liabilities Recon, CGT calculations & computations, Tax computations to prepare and complete individual IT12 returns on efiling
- Company and Trust
- Submit Tax returns on SARS efiling
- Check and action ITA34's
- Complete IT14's and IT12TR's
- Tax Clearance Applications, Good Standing, Tender or Foreign Investment
- Complete and action Income Tax registration (individual, company, close corp, trusts) including supporting documents
- Manage and resolve queries at SARS
- Complete and submit Tax Directive Applications including supporting documents
- Prepare IRP6 returns and letters
- Manage payments to SARS via efiling
- Compete and action dividend withholding tax forms DWT01 & DWT02 on efilling
- Resolve income tax, VAT and PAYE queries with SARS on behalf of clients
Requirements:
- Minimum of a completed Tax qualification
- Minimum of 5 years tax experience in a similar experience
- Must have strong Taxation knowledge
- Strong MS Office, SARS efilling knowledge
- Ability to prioritize, work under pressure and stay focused
- Customer focused
- Excellent communication and writing skills
