    Description

    Senior Data Scientist Position

    We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team at Discovery Health.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for leading advanced data science projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing innovative solutions to drive business growth and improve customer outcomes.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Design, develop, and deploy predictive models to inform risk management, sales, and savings strategies
    • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform product design, customer interaction strategies, and operational improvements
    • Presentation of data insights and model findings to senior executives and business stakeholders to drive informed decision-making
    • Maintain and enhance existing models to ensure ongoing performance and relevance

    Requirements

    • Master's or PhD degree in Data Science, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or Engineering fields
    • Proven experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, and data visualization
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
    • Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and other analytics tools and languages
