    Introduction

    We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will report into the Applications Portfolio Manager (ERP) and work in an office-based environment.

    Job Purpose:

    The primary responsibility of this role is to design, develop, and support SAP applications using advanced technical skills.

    Key Performance Areas:

    1. SAP Application Development: Design and develop SAP applications using ABAP programming language.
    2. Troubleshooting and Resolution: Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP issues in a timely manner.
    3. Business Requirements Translation: Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
    4. System Checks: Perform regular system checks to ensure optimal performance.
    5. Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support and training to end-users.
    6. Industry Trends and Advancements: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in SAP ABAP.

    Required Skills:

    1. Advanced ABAP coding
    2. Building CDS views
    3. Calling SAP APIs
    4. Using SAP IDOCs
    5. Writing Technical Specifications for Developers to follow
    6. Writing Test Specifications and executing testing against them

    Minimum Job-Related Experience:

    Essential:

    1. At least 5 years of experience in SAP S4HANA ABAP development.
    2. Experience in researching, interpreting, and applying SAP Notes.
    3. Logging and managing SAP tickets / calls.
    4. Strong knowledge of SAP systems and modules.

    Desirable:

    1. SAP ABAP certification.
    2. Experience in working with SAP S4 Extended Edition / Private Cloud / HEC)
    3. Fiori Development, SAP BTP tools (E.g. BAS) as well as low-code no-code tools.
    4. Experience in Pharma, Logistics, or Wholesale & Distribution Industries.
    5. Familiarity with SAP CPI.
