    Our client offers a broad range of services, encompassing traditional consulting services (design, procurement and contract supervision), Public Private Partnership (PPP) solutions and asset management services.

    This includes the design and construction of high-capacity freeways, interchanges, bridges, airport pavements, rural roads (including low volume and haul roads) and municipal infrastructure.

    The team is supported by transportation and traffic engineers, geotechnical and material engineers, and other specialists.

    Core Purpose

    Lead and manage a team of Engineers and Technicians in the design, procurement and contract administration of roads projects.

    Qualifications

    • Applicable bachelor's degree in engineering.
    • Registration with ECSA as a PR Eng.

    Experience

    • Minimum of 10 years post PR Eng registration experience.
    • At least 10 years' experience in pavement design standards and procedures.
    • Specialist knowledge of Rubicon, cncPave and/or similar pavement design packages, at least 5 years' experience in these types of software packages.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Management responsibilities include leading and directing teams, managing project timelines, budgets and resources, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and promoting a positive work environment.

    Technical responsibilities include overseeing the design, procurement and contract administration of roads projects, collaborating with clients to understand project requirements, and providing guidance and support to junior team members.

    Other responsibilities may include mentoring and coaching junior staff members, participating in business development activities, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the company.
