  • Management Intelligence Team)
  • In the Discovery Health Management Intelligence unit, our core purpose is "creating intelligence for a healthier tomorrow" by leveraging Discovery's vast data to drive valuable insights to improve both clinical and operational environments. Key to our purpose is obtaining and structuring quality data, leveraging cutting edge analytical innovations and delivering actionable insights in a sustainable and meaningful way. We leverage an integrated, collaborative, and multidisciplinary approach to ensure our objectives and goals are met.
    Key Purpose
  • Maintaining our clients Data and Reporting needs on a Weekly/Monthly basis.
    Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to
  • Responsible for maintaining monthly production of Data and Reporting needs.
  • Interact directly with clients, gathering information and implementing any change requests to their current reports.
  • Working with assigned dashboards and checklists, reviewing to ensure all requirements have been captured (Quality Assurance).
  • Collect data, analyse trends, summarise, draw conclusions, and make recommendations.
  • Build tables, graphs, and presentations using approved tools.
  • Perform adhoc support to our clients and internal Teams.
  • Create / maintain all Production Documentation.

Education and Experience

  • Completed a postsecondary diploma/degree in the field/s of Coding, Business Analysis, Mathematics, Statistics.
  • 12 years of work experience in data analysis.
  • Must have a strong interest and understanding of the following.
  • Data management, data analysis.
  • Skills in Microsoft Excel (macros, vlookups and pivot tables) and Power Point
  • Experience with the following would be considered an asset for this role.
  • Development tools such as Python, VBA and SQL
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft Power BI
  • Experience with any Dashboard tools
