Responsibilities:

Designing, configuring and maintaining virtual machines in development and production environments.
Managing and troubleshooting Linux and Windowsbased systems to ensure high availability and performance.
Setting up and maintaining networking components such as firewalls, load balancers, and DNS.
Implementing and managing containerisation and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Developing and maintaining Bash scripts to automate tasks and streamline processes.
Using programming languages for scripting, automation, and integration with various APIs and services.
Configuring and managing Kubernetes clusters to ensure scalability and resilience.
Experience with log parsing, database maintenance, data manipulation, and data visualisation.

Requirements:

Certifications in relevant areas such as Cloud, Linux, Networking, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Proficient in Database Administration.
Skilled in Data Manipulation and Visualisation.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
Proficient in programming languages, particularly Python and Go.
Extensive knowledge of virtualisation technologies and handson experience with virtual machine management.
Proficiency in Linux system administration and adept at troubleshooting.
Solid grasp of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing.
Handson experience with containerisation technologies.
Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python, with a focus on automation and infrastructure management.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Oracle.
Experience with configuration management tools.
Knowledge of building automation tools.
Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with crossfunctional teams.
