Production Coordinator - Durban, South Africa - TOWER GROUP (PTY) LTD

Description

To ensure that all components for the assigned Brands are placed timeously and correctly and to monitor the Purchase orders and Production Orders closely to alleviate delays at the factories and for production to run as smoothly as possible.

• Loading orders on sync as per Production Manager
• Request markers and follow up
• Purchasing of raw materials fabric & trims as approved by the Production Manager yes
• Follow up on all outstanding PO raised
• Liaise with Suppliers on lead times and deliveries
• Receive raw materials into the system
• Picking trims to CMT
• Picking fabrics to CMT
• Prepare package for despatch to CMT — Blue folder
• Follow up on Cut Figures from CMT and input into the system
• Raise outwork PO and issue to various suppliers
• Liaising with factories on problems and issues
• Arranging the drop off and collection of goods with outwork suppliers when required Receive finished garments into the system.
• Transfer finished stock to stock jobs
• Maintaining stock top up level according to SOH Reports
• Monitoring Brand fabric holding and trim stock holding
• Maintaining all aspects and gaining a full understanding of the Brands allocated to you Reporting and communicating all potential production delays to the Production and Sales Manager's
• Maintaining step processes on sync
• Updating jobs and their statuses
• Arranging wash tests and garment tests on problem items
• Anything else required of you to perform your duties to the best of your abilities

• Degree
• Microsoft Suite Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft PowerPoint; Microsoft Outlook
