Kitchen Assistant - Somerset West, South Africa - Wild Eatery

Description

The Wild team is looking for a positive, committed, proactive and energetic individual to work in our kitchen.

This is dynamic role that requires you to think on your feet and to assist your team where you see it is needed.

Duties:

• Assist in the preparation of food (wraps, bowl, smoothies, coffee)
• Perform all positions within the kitchen as needed.
• Clean kitchen areas including equipment and dishes
• Maintain health and safety standards at all times.

Basic requirements:

• Hospitality Experience (at least 1 year)
• Fluent in English
• Work Visa (if a foreign national)
• A team player with a passion for food and people
• Friendly, tidy, helpful
• Good communication skills with team members and customers.
• A teachable spirit and a willingness to learn and grow.

Bonus:

• Ability to travel to our Cape Town Eatery as needed (advantage)
• Barista experience (advantage)

Job Types:
Part-time, Temp to perm

Contract length: 12 months

Part-time hours: 24 per week

From R280.00 per day
