The successful incumbent will be responsible for achieving production targets and efficiencies. Ensure production and workforce planning.JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Matric
- 3 to 5 years proven track record as a production supervisor, in manufacturing.
- Own reliable transport.
- Ability to work shift (as and when required)
DELIVERABLE
- Production Planning_
- Ensuring that raw material required for production is calculated
- Ordering raw material required for production
- Controlling Raw Material (Reporting on shortages and outages to Production Manager)
- Capacity planning / management
- Monitoring shift production on a daily basis
- Quality control
- Identify & implement efficiencies
- Solving production related problems
- Production Supervision_
- Supervising the production flow
- Supervision of Team
- Supervision & providing direction to subordinates
- Monitor & control Team
- Monthly stock taking
- Staff allocation (Shift rotation)
- People Management_
- Initiate toolbox talks
- Ensuring training / multiskilling of subordinates
- Performance Management
- Discipline
- Build team morale
- Monitor risks within department;
Salary:
R20, R35,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Cape Town,
Western Cape:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
