    System Enhancement Opportunity

    A new role has been created for a DevOps Engineer to join our fast-growing technology team in the manufacturing sector.

    This position involves participating in deployment planning and task delivery, as well as management, maintenance, and monitoring of system reporting and dashboards.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    Key Requirements:

    1. IT Diploma and/or relevant qualifications are required.
    2. At least 3 years of previous experience working in a DevOps environment is necessary.
    3. General Support experience of at least 3 years is also required.
    4. Familiarity with ITSM.Next (Service Now) incident management is essential.
    5. Proficiency in Planning & Monitoring using Grafana / OpenSearch Logstash is required.
    6. Experience with CI/CD Pipeline / Change Management using Jenkins is necessary.
    7. Strong knowledge of Configuration Management / Version Control using GitHub is required.
    8. Operations Reporting Experience is essential.
    9. Solution Test Experience is also required.
    10. Risk Detection and Management skills are necessary.
    11. In addition, flexibility to adapt to Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter assigned tasks is required.
    12. Knowledge of AWS ALB, ECS, RDS is required.
    13. Proficiency in GitHub and GitHub Actions is necessary.
    14. Familiarity with Kafka is required.
    15. Coding skills in Java and TypeScript are required.
    16. Database Knowledge with SQL is essential.

    Please note that this is a permanent position based in Semi-Remote / Centurion offering a contract rate negotiable on experience and ability.
