Job Title: Administration Department Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to assist in the smooth running of our Administration department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all back-office operations run efficiently, providing support on administrative duties, and collaborating with team members to achieve desired outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in completing general admin duties as directed or requested, adhering to current procedures and deadlines.
Provide timely support to the Operations team, responding to requests for information both written and verbal.
Liaise with staff from other departments to resolve customer issues and gain information.
Attend and conduct team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on products and processes.
Remain aware of policy changes and their impact on the environment and role.
Perform additional duties and special projects as directed by Management, aligning with employee skills and experience.

Requirements

Mandatory minimum Matric qualification.
Tertiary qualification or course in management is advantageous.
At least 2 years' experience in a debt review credit collections/banking environment with minimum 2 years leadership experience as a Team Leader/Team Manager/Supervisor.
Experience with handling IR procedures and performance improvement processes.
Knowledge of reporting platforms and POPIA Regulations.

Desirable Competencies and Skills

Credit Risk Management knowledge.
Retail or Banking Credit Industry expertise.
National Credit Act (NCA) understanding.
Debt Counselling/Mediation/Rehabilitation processes familiarity.
Intermediate to Advanced Computer Literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook).
Positive attitude, interpersonal, and relationship management skills.
Attention to detail and numerical reasoning abilities.
