    Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team of experts in electrical engineering on various turnkey projects across the African continent.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical consulting services to customers and produce integrated engineering solutions/designs for asset creation at various project stages.
    • Interface with project managers and other engineering disciplines on design and implementation, conducting technical evaluations supporting planning, design, and construction.
    • Perform project administration tasks including preparing reports, gathering information, drafting proposals, and completing progress reports.
    • Design and implement pumping systems for water abstraction and water treatment plants, including piping, sedimentation tanks, flocculators, and chemical dosing systems.
    • Ensure safe work practices and company guidelines for safety are followed.
    • Design all mechanical structures of water treatment plants.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Sc. or B.Eng.) with PrEng registration with ECSA.
    • At least 15 years of experience in engineering design, management, and construction, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in electrical/mechanical design.
    • Extensive experience in design and construction of steel water pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, abstraction works, and water treatment plants.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and relevant electrical and water design software.
    • Driver's license is essential.
    • Knowledge of Employee Equity Act, Labour laws, OHS Act, and design standards.
