Job Summary:

The Reservations Manager is the primary sales driver and main point of contact for key accounts, while also taking charge of leading, motivating, and training the reservations team. This role is crucial to ensuring that all operations within the company are efficient and profitable, with a focus on alignment and streamlining across departments and business units. The key responsibilities include maintaining excellent customer relationships, gathering and providing agent feedback, and delivering on or exceeding sales targets as per business expectations.

Main Responsibilities:

Sales:

Maintain a strong customer base and build relationships with key stakeholders
Provide expert guidance to the team on customer needs and sales strategies
Deliver on sales targets and exceed expectations
Investigate and understand customer business requirements

Reservations:

Monitor the quoting and operational accuracy of the team
Ensure operational excellence and efficiency
Monitor workload distribution and plan staff accordingly
Conduct spot checks and create cost and margin awareness
Support the team in achieving sales targets and service level agreements

Human Resources:

Plan and coordinate recruitment and training initiatives
Build a high level of motivation and team spirit
Be approachable and supportive to staff
Establish clear targets and carry out performance appraisals

Financial:

Ensure correct and timely invoicing and collection
Support the team in resolving account queries

Additional Responsibilities:

Stay up-to-date with customer product offerings and Private Safaris priorities
Be aware of competitors' products and market trends
Support management in decision-making and provide input
