    Description

    Job Title: Cluster Pharmacist Assistant (L02)

    Medipost Pharmacy is seeking a self-driven individual to join the Order Processing Department as a Cluster Pharmacist Assistant (L02). The successful candidate will be based in Gezina, Pretoria.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Capture new prescriptions accurately, including acute and chronic medications.
    • Handle inbound and outbound calls efficiently.
    • Assist with L02 group action diary mailbox and LIFEDA mailbox as required.
    • Attend to INV, urgent, extreme urgent, and WIPCORE actions promptly.
    • Monitor personal out-of-work report.
    • Respond to emails from production or other departments within SLA requirements.
    • Evaluate prescriptions for correct profile, client, medical aid, and membership number, address, contact details, and relevant information.
    • Autorize medication and interact with healthcare professionals when necessary.
    • Process scripts and related procedures, emphasizing the MML.
    • Provide accurate and timely responses to patient queries and ensure follow-up work within SLA requirements.
    • Manage all profiles worked on according to standard operating procedure.
    • Address cluster rejections according to SOP and medical aid rules.
    • Ensure all personal action diaries are addressed or escalated before planned annual or sick leave.
    • Support department colleagues with action diaries during their absence due to unplanned leave.
    • Assist admin staff with clinical, claiming, and general queries.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Grade 12
    • 2 years' experience as a pharmacist assistant
    • Registration at SAPC
