- Ensuring laboratories are equipped to perform quality assurance and that laboratory staff are properly trained
- Perform regular audits of site laboratories for adherence to our quality manual and standard test methods
- Peruse asphalt test results for any anomalies and notify sites
- Attend pre-supply meetings with site staff on bigger contracts and ensure necessary mix design approval procedures and followed
- Assist sites with any technical queries of where product problems occurred to determine root cause and actions to be taken to prevent recurrence
- Provide and / or arrange for training of laboratory staff in asphalt technology and testing
