    Description

    BI Specialist/Analyst Position

    We are seeking a skilled BI Specialist/Analyst to join our delivery team at a leading Internet Solutions Provider.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Gathering Business Requirements:
    • Translate business requirements into specifications for data store/data warehouse/data mart design and configuration
    • Data Load and Support:
      • Loading data stores/data warehouses/data marts using ETL tools
      • Providing support to ensure the availability and performance of enterprise data and BI environments
    • Configuration Management:
      • Implementing proper configuration management and change controls
    • Data Analysis and Improvement:
      • Developing methodologies to improve data analysis
      • Providing technical assistance and cross training to other team members
      • Designing and implementing technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes
      • Ongoing monitoring and refinement of reports and analytical solutions
      • Recommending systems and process improvements based on current knowledge of business and technology
    • Supervision and Performance:
      • Performing duties with moderate to low supervision

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
    • BI certifications desirable
    • At least 3 years' experience in implementing enterprise-scale reporting systems
