My client seeks a detail-oriented and highly skilled individual with a strong background in accounting and exceptional proficiency in Excel to join their finance team as a Financial Accountant. Hybrid working environment.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting financial reporting, analysis and data driven processes within the organization.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex formulas.

Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting and Analysis:

• Conduct in-depth financial accounting tasks and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Prepare month end journals and trial balance reconciliations.
• Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement in financial performance.

Excel Expertise:

• Utilize advanced Excel functions and formulas to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
• Design and maintain complex financial models for forecasting and budgeting.
• Develop automated tools and dashboards to streamline financial reporting processes.

Accounting Support:

• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with year end statutory audits.

Data Integrity:

• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in financial reporting systems.
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies or errors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-3 years experience in similar role.
• Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including experience with pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
