As an Internal Sales Person, your primary responsibility will be to achieve sales targets by maximizing sales opportunities and efficiently managing the needs of customers.

You will be expected to provide excellent customer service by maintaining clear and precise communication with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring that the correct product is quoted the first time.

You will be responsible for providing timely quotes to customers, following up on orders and deliveries to ensure quick turnaround, and keeping customers informed of progress and timing of quotes, orders, and deliveries.

In addition, you will need to manage any issues or queries efficiently and effectively to minimize their impact on the client.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales and growth targets.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders at target clients.
  • Identify opportunities for products and projects at target clients.
  • Communicate promotions and incentive schemes to clients as required.
  • Collate the monthly analysis of product mix by key customer to understand where winning/losing.
  • Ensure all accounts are managed in accordance with SOP.
  • Market the full range of products and services.
  • Attend training on focus brands.
  • Develop a good understanding of our service offerings in Solar and Backup Power.
  • Identify opportunities for new products or projects and advise Sales Director of potential.
  • Engage Technical to provide support on customer sales and queries.
  • Continuously monitor your margin on target accounts

  • Understand your product mix and where you are losing/gaining margin in your monthly review.
  • Manage the administrative aspects of accounts timeously.
  • Ensure outstanding order numbers are closed off within the month.
  • Ensure accounts are paid in the required payment period and assist where there are issues.
  • Manage other administrative needs as required.

Skills & Experience required:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales.
  • Diploma or working towards strong personal development.
  • Excellent customer service track record.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze information and problem solve.
  • Ability to work under pressure and within deadlines.
  • Driven and independent individual.
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate.
  • Strong social and cultural skills with the ability to interact with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Excellent levels of honesty and integrity.

Salary:
R15, R25,000.00 per month
