    Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Engineering Manager

    We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer with extensive knowledge of Hydraulics to lead our engineering team in the Kempton Park area, Gauteng.

    About the Role

    This is an ENGINEER MANAGER position for a MECHANICAL ENGINEER (Degree in Mechanical Engineering) with significant HYDRAULICS experience:

    1. Design and develop high-quality hydraulic components that meet customer specifications.
    2. Provide expert technical advice to internal stakeholders on hydraulic systems and components.
    3. Conduct site visits to provide technical support and guidance to customers and colleagues.
    4. Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for fellow colleagues on products and technical matters.
    5. Inspect and approve manufacturing components to ensure compliance with quality standards.
    6. Create detailed quotes for products and systems to be manufactured, taking into account customer requirements and market conditions.
    7. Lead and manage projects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring timely delivery and optimal results.
    8. Manage and oversee the engineering department, leveraging your managerial experience to drive efficiency and productivity.
    9. Evaluate and recommend the use of new technologies and innovative solutions to improve product development and manufacturing processes.

    Requirements

    To succeed in this role, you will need:

    • A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
    • Extensive experience in hydraulics, including design, development, and implementation of hydraulic systems.
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and customers.
    • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools and technologies.
    • A clean criminal record, which will be verified as part of the hiring process.
