    Cloud Support Engineer

    You will learn at an accelerated pace how to use and leverage many different cloud technologies to help our customers succeed.

    This role supports services that focus on Infrastructure Automation/Governance and Configuration Management, including AWS CloudFormation, Cloud Development Kit (CDK), Control Tower, Service Catalog and AWS OpsWorks, which manages instances of Chef and Puppet.

    As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will interact with customers who reach out to AWS via email, chat or phone, helping them automate their infrastructure management and configuration management for their applications.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Solving customer cases through contact channels (telephone, email, web/live chat) using advanced troubleshooting techniques.
    • Driving initiatives to improve support-related processes and customer experience.
    • Providing feedback to internal AWS teams on service improvements and working on critical customer problems.
    • Continuously learning new technologies and developing technical skills.
    • Acting as interviewer in hiring processes and coaching/mentoring new team members.

    Qualifications:

    • 3+ years of software development and 3+ years of technical support experience.
    • Experience with IaC tools (Cloudformation, Terraform, CDK) and Configuration Management tools (AWS OpsWorks, Chef, Puppet, Ansible).
