    Description

    Commercial Business Development Consultant

    We are seeking a committed, driven and results-oriented adviser to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently as well as in a team environment, writing business in accordance with targets laid down by our client.

    Main Responsibilities:

    1. Source at least 100 lead-generating opportunities per month, primarily on Commercial Insurance.
    2. Maintain and update your Lead Generation Matrix on a weekly basis.
    3. Arrange meetings with clients for needs analysis and professional advice.
    4. Manage the lead generation process, including presentations and communication with staff.
    5. Complete weekly reports reflecting leads, quotes, sales, and other pertinent information.
    6. Stay informed on product comparisons with opposition products.
    7. Keep up-to-date with all product changes.
    8. Generate interest for and introduce other specialists to prospects where appropriate.
    9. Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) as laid down by our client.
    10. Ensure compliance with regulations and standards of all Insurance regulations and professional guidelines.
    11. Meet the Fit and Proper requirements as set out in the FAIS codes of conduct.
    12. Achieve continuing professional development objectives as required by the industry.
    13. Maintain skills and knowledge to provide specialist, professional financial advice in all relevant business areas.

    Requirements:

    1. Matric/Grade 12.
    2. FAIS Credits or a full recognised qualification as per the FSCA qualification list.
    3. FAIS Regulatory examination for Representatives (RE5).
    4. CPD points.
    5. Minimum three years sales experience, preferably in the short-term industry.
    6. Own transport and valid driver's license.
