A qualified Artisan with a formal tertiary education in Tool Making/Turner Machinist is sought after for this role. The ideal candidate should have at least 2-5 years of experience working in a machining/tool making environment.

The Successful Incumbent (Toolmaker, Fitter and Turner, Turner Machinist) will be responsible for operating manual lathes, reading mechanical drawings, actual planning, and completion of tasks as set out on the drawing. Maintaining quality and tolerances as stipulated for all tasks assigned is crucial, along with completing tasks according to project timing requirements.

Requirements:

• Formal tertiary education: Qualified Artisan (Tool Maker/Turner machinist)
• Experience: At least 2-5 years in a machining/tool making environment
• Languages: English (read, write, and speak required), Afrikaans (read, write, and speak optional)
• Drivers Licence: Code 8 (required)
