Description
Our client is seeking to employ an
Managing Director to oversee the smooth running of their refractory business.

  • The company specialises in refractory services, such as, installations, demolitions, repairs, manufacturing of precast shapes, lagging, cladding, expansion bellows. Some of the industries they service include, but are not limited to, sugar mills, power plants, petrochemical plants etc._

Duties:


  • Successfully implement company policy
  • Oversee and implement daily business operations
  • Oversee company finances, with regular reporting to shareholders
  • Oversee office staff, contract managers and site supervisors
  • Motivate the team to meet and exceed goals and objectives
  • Oversee contracts and quotations to clients, and the implementation thereof
  • Able to communicate well
  • Able to nurture company relationships with clients

Education and Experience Requirements:


  • A bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance and/or MBA required or similar
  • At least 5 years in a relevant management experience
  • Experience in similar industries
  • Ability to read and understand a site drawing
  • Understanding operations of clients onsite plants/manufacturing sites
