    Description
    • The Truck Workshop department is seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven individual to join our team. This role requires someone who can work in a fast-paced, demanding, and pressurized environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Install new electronic components on vehicles.
    • Diagnose problems with electronic components in vehicles.
    • Maintain and repair electronic components.
    • Utilize various tools to repair parts efficiently.
    • Test and repair starters, alternators, and charging systems.
    • Operate all tools and equipment safely.
    • Repair and replace defective wiring.
    • Faultfind Electrical systems by visual inspection and testing equipment use.
    • Maintain a clean working environment.
    • Complete job reports and process paperwork.
    • Repairs for COF's.
    • Quality control.
    • Attend to breakdowns.
    • Repair gear selection systems on International, Volvo, and UD trucks.
    • Troubleshoot machine breakdowns.
    • Perform planned and unplanned maintenance on machines.

    Qualifying Criteria:

    • A Red Seal Auto Electrician Qualification.
    • Minimum 5 years of post-qualification working experience.
    • Experience with CMMS system.
    • Demonstrate professionalism at all times.
    • Strong problem-solving skills.
    • Advanced knowledge of modern vehicular electrical systems.
      • Truck and earthmoving machinery experience.
        • Work in challenging conditions.
        • Work under pressure.
        • Communicate effectively at all levels.
        • Operate electrical diagnostic equipment.
        • Meet deadlines.
        • Work independently and in a team.
        • Hold a valid code C1 driver's license and own a reliable motor vehicle.
