The Purpose of this Role:

This role focuses on driving business development through strategic partnerships with distribution partners like wholesaler outlets, OEM dealers.

Responsibilities include implementing national sales and marketing activities, responding to market changes with proactive action plans, coordinating ad-hoc sales activities, and providing continuous market intelligence feedback.

Additionally, optimizing quality and service levels, conducting health checks based on OEM standards, presenting detailed action plans to senior management, supporting the onboarding of new partners, and delivering training to personnel are key facets.

Ultimately, the aim is to foster growth and competitiveness in the automotive market.


Minimum Requirement in terms of Education:

  • Matric / N3 Certificate
  • Further Education and

Training Certificate:
Automotive Sales and Support Services.

  • Completion of Technical trade theory programs
  • Responsible for parts sales growth for selected Dealers within a designated territory, especially within Trade Parts
  • Carry out indepth business review of all associated activities, providing root cause analysis
  • Produce comprehensive, but concise, business review findings

/reporting

  • Prioritise dealer improvement actions, taking into account size ease of opportunity and dealer capabilities
  • Create an action plan, detailing responsibilities timelines and calculating sales growth
  • Present report and action plan to dealer senior management, gaining acceptance and buyin of their responsibilities within
  • Present action plan and responsibilities to Dealer staff, gaining buyin at all levels
  • Over the agreed timespan, provided coaching 'handson' support at all levels to initiate action plan data analysis, process, implementation, sales coaching, customer, and opportunity management
  • Create an action plan for ongoing maintenance at the conclusion of coaching, handover to the Dealer and NSC Management
  • Always ensure effective communication and feedback with: Head Office, Regional and District Management, MSX Programme Management, MSX Support Functions
  • Attend meetings as required, providing territory results, feedback, and market intelligence
  • Carry out health checks based on OEM quality standards and provide root cause analyses

Minimum Experience Requirement

  • Aftersales management experience is preferred, within the following channels
  • Trade Parts and Trade Parts Manager
  • Good knowledge of business composite data and the ability to analyze and identify issues
  • Experience and expertise in carrying out onsite root cause analysis
  • Experience in aftersales process implementation is a prerequisite
  • Experience and demonstrable expertise of oneonone sales coaching is a prerequisite
  • Ability to liaise and interact at all levels within the dealer network
  • Excellent communication skills, good knowledge of DMS system and Microsoft Office
  • Advanced Excel is a MUST
