    Strategic Operations Specialist

    We are seeking a skilled professional to join our BANK team as a Strategic Operations Specialist.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Familiarize yourself with the Bank Collections team's operational processes, including client-specific programs, bank-specific programs, and internal processes that link them together.
    • Gain in-depth knowledge of Debit Orders and their rules per collection method (DebiCheck and EFT Debit Orders).
    • Identify issues or potential upgrades in the process and communicate changes and fixes to developers.
    • Design new programs to enhance the process and minimize manual intervention.
    • Liaise with clients on business rule changes for potential collection success increases.
    • Create User Requirements and Specifications on changes and analyze their impact on current processes.
    • Map existing processes to identify optimization opportunities.
    • Ensure new processes are followed by developers as expected by business operations.
    • Prioritize developers' tasks.
    • Assist with end-to-end testing of changes.
    • Help operational staff with data queries and checks to ensure clients' business rules are applied correctly before sending transactions to the bank.
    • Process Bank Response files.
    • Extract and compile statistics and reports for internal stakeholders and clients.

    Requirements:

    • Mastery of SQL is non-negotiable.
    • Strong process skills.
    • Able to translate operations requirements to technical people and vice versa.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills.

    Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
