_Medical Practitioner - Part-time Position_

Our team of medical professionals at 247 GP Fourways, provide a multidisciplinary approach to treating patients.

When it comes to recovering from or managing a health problem, two or even three heads are better than one.

Our services include Biokinetics, Physiotherapy, Dentistry, and Doctor services.

We believe in simplicity of treatment through thoughtful care, clear communication, and hands-on guidance.


Key Performance Areas:

• Comprehensive general family medicine and health checkups (by referring to their history, carrying out diagnosis, treatment, counselling, and referral where necessary).
• Chronic disease & pain management.
• Men's and Women's Health.
• Ordering lab tests and interpreting the test results, as well as contacting patients to discuss results and further treatment as needed.
• Always Maintaining confidentiality and compliance with the POPI act.
• Collecting, recording, and maintaining sensitive patient information such as examination results, medical history, and reports.
• Explaining procedures or prescribed treatments to patients.
• Liaising with medical professionals in the community and hospitals.
• Promoting health education in conjunction with other health professionals.
• Discussing and evaluating new pharmaceutical products with pharmaceutical representatives.
• Keeping up to date with medical developments, treatment, and medication.

Requirements:

• Completion of residency training (Essential)
• Ideally 23 years post community service
• Current medical license registration with HPCSA. (Essential).
• Fantastic people skills.
• Charismatic and energetic.
• Superb organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent decisionmaking skills and communication.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
• Compassionate nature with the ability to make patients feel at ease.
• Ability to treat common clinical presentations and ailments.

Working Hours:

• Saturdays: 09:00 16:00
• Sundays and

Public Holidays: 10:00 - 14:00

• Alternative weekdays (Depending on patient load): 08:00 18:00
