Description
Responsible for providing solid and effective legal advisory services in all jurisdictions within which AECI Mining operates

  • Responsible for Corporate Legal and Regulatory affairs
  • Strengthen collaboration with external legal advisors, local and cross border
  • Maintain relationships with all internal stakeholders
  • Reporting of legal and ethical breaches
  • Promote a culture that supports high performance through effective collaboration and participation within the legal and compliance teams
  • Assist Group Company Secretary and Head of Legal in creating an environment of high performance

Qualifications & Experience:


  • Degree: LLB/LLM
  • Admitted Attorney/Advocate Experience
  • 8 years work experience in same or similar role
  • Substantial experience in corporate law, commercial and contractual law &M&A matters
  • Knowledge of applicable legislation including corporate law, competition law,contract law, dispute resolution, environmental law, mining law, labour law,etc.
  • Solid regulatory compliance experience in multinational companies
  • Strong legal risk management background
  • Demonstrable legal project management experience
