    Job Purpose

    To actively assist the team in delivering on tender requirements and supporting the objectives of the business.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Identify new business opportunities and coordinate the submission of quality proposals and tenders.
    • Ensure compliance with tender responses, documentation, and submissions by analyzing requirements, preparing content, and obtaining relevant information.
    • Assist with event coordination in support of business development objectives.
    • Conduct research and stay updated on the latest developments in the field to enhance continuous improvement.
    • Manage resources to successfully deliver on tender requirements, website submissions, and electronic communication.
    • Maintain the accuracy of database registrations by updating them with the latest company information.
    • Maintain electronic templates and documents, including company documents, tender templates, and presentation templates.
    • Manage the content repository to ensure all content is accurate, accessible, and up-to-date.
    • Achieve project objectives by planning and employing robust management techniques for smooth execution.
    • Work with designers and suppliers to ensure tenders are professional and aesthetically appealing.
    • SOURCE AND PACKAGING: Ensure packaging is sourced and of the best quality and latest trends so that our submissions compete on every level with our competitors.
    • VENDOR MANAGEMENT: Work with vendors and other stakeholders to ensure in-person and virtual site visits are conducted according to best practices and utilizing the latest technology advancements at the most cost-effective price.

    • Deliver on service level agreements applicable to clients and internal and external stakeholders to manage client expectations.

    Requirements

    • Matric/Grade 12 (Essential).
    • Degree in Communication/Marketing or equivalent relevant qualification (Essential).
    • Project Management Course (Essential).
    • Registered with the Association for Proposal Management Professional (APMP) (Desirable).
    • 5-8 years' experience in a Healthcare Management role, of which 3 years should be in the medical industry (essential).
    • 3-5 years' experience in a Marketing or Sales role (essential).
    • 2-3 years' experience people management (essential).
    • Procurement processes: understanding of procurement procedures.
    • Legal and regulatory compliance: knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing tendering processes.
    • Market analysis: understanding of market dynamics, trends, and pricing strategies relevant to the industry.
    • Financial analysis: costs, budgets, and financial implications of tender proposals.
    • Bid management: knowledge of bid management processes.
    • Project management: understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
    • Flexible working hours: prepared to work after hours and on weekends when required to meet tender deadlines and business needs.
    • Aesthetic and professional presentation: work with designers and suppliers to ensure tenders are professional and aesthetically appealing.
    • Quality packaging: ensure packaging is sourced and of the best quality and latest trends.
    • Event coordination: work with vendors and other stakeholders to ensure in-person and virtual site visits are conducted according to best practices.
    • Stakeholder management: work with Joint Venture partners, subcontractors, C-suite Executives, Subject Matter Experts to deliver a compelling sales pitch throughout the sales cycle.
