Monthly Basic Salary (Market related)
Facility Manager needed for a Sports Centre based in Soweto, Johannesburg.

  • Zealous individual needed to fill in the role of a Facility Manager.

Duties and desired experience includes:

  • Responsible for endtoend success of the facility, working across all functions and stakeholders to maximize community impact, deliver operational excellence and meet Nike brand objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal as well as external business partners and community stakeholders to develop and advance the athletes experience in the site.
  • Management and administration of the Facilities budget and make recommendations to improve the overall productivity.
  • Collect data to identify trends, insights and gaps to advise strategy, as well as relevant programming.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification will be an advantage facilities management, sport management, or any other business related fields will be
considered.

  • Strong business acumen with experience managing budgets
  • Demonstrated experience leading strategic partners and supplier management
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively lead a large, diverse team
  • Recommend and implement new processes and programs to increase efficiency and overall value of the facility.
  • Minimum of 5year work experience on highprofile project, or in operations management within Facilities /Hospitality/ or Retail.
  • Good understanding of the legislative requirements i.e. BCEA, LRA, OSH Act, EE Act, etc.
  • Excellent understanding of Facilities, Sport industry and its trends
