Purpose of the position:

To assist KBC with the growth and development of new and existing clients within Gauteng Region


Key performance areas:


  • Developing and driving sales in the Gauteng region
  • Must achieve set targets
  • New Business Development and Customer Relationship Management
  • Provide market intelligence & finding new business opportunities
  • Sales analysis
  • Client profiling
  • Geographical sales mapping
  • Ensure company and legal compliance into the business
  • Daily, Weekly, Monthly Reporting etc.

Minimum Requirements:


  • Matric, coupled with a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Sales or Marketing
  • Language proficiency in English, Zulu and Afrikaans is required
  • Technical aptitude highly recommended
  • Must have at least 35 years' experience in the safety industry
  • Proven sales track record, trade references & recommendations
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Driver's license

  • Excellent negotiation & presentation skills

  • Must be able to work unsupervised & independently
  • Wellspoken with excellent communication skills
  • Organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to multitask under pressure
  • Reporting skills
