Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Cape Town.

As an Environment and Social Manager (EPC), you will be responsible for overseeing environmental and social aspects of project development and execution.

Your day-to-day tasks will involve conducting environmental and social impact assessments, developing and implementing environmental management plans, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, managing stakeholder relationships, and promoting sustainable practices.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of environmental and social regulations and standards
Experience in conducting environmental and social impact assessments
Knowledge of sustainable practices and ability to promote them
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and in a team
Degree in Environmental Science, Social Sciences, or a related field
Relevant certifications or memberships (e.g., ISO 14001, IEMA) would be beneficial
Prior experience in the renewable energy industry or project management is a plus
