Job Description

We are seeking a skilled SolidWorks Draughtsman to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

Liaise with engineers and other departments in the company.
Create detailed designs, including manufacturing drawings, QC drawings, general assembly drawings, exploded view and sectional assembly drawings.
Ensure compliance with engineering and draughting best practices.
Conform to PDM (Product Data Management) and Product Lifecycle Management systems and controls.
Manage part numbers and BOMs on the company's ERP system.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 3 years of relevant experience with SolidWorks at an intermediate level.
At least 2 years' experience working with large EPCs, project management, and engineering consulting houses.
At least 1 year of experience at a mineral processing site.
Familiarity with design processes (PLM or PDM) and creating bills of materials.
Good knowledge of draughting standards, manufacturing processes, and limits and fits, geometric tolerancing, welding standards and symbols, sheet metal cutting (laser, flame, plasma), and sheet metal bending.
Experience with ERP systems, preferably Syspro.
A high level of self-awareness and neatness, with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Salary Range:

$80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
