Debtors Clerk

Main duties.

  • Controlling all POD's, matching with invoices
  • Following up on payments, calling customers for overdue payments
  • Working with large retail store accounts, handling complex recons
  • Sending out of monthly statements
  • Following up with sales department for non payment by customers
  • Resolving of customer queries
  • Reconciling of accounts and obtaining remittances
  • Weekly Debtors meeting to provide updates

About The Employer

  • Large FMCG company and a supplier to major retailers in South Africa

Minimum requirements:


  • Grade 12. Relevant tertiary qualification will be a plus
  • Min 2 yrs experience in a similar role, dealing with large retailer accounts
