What will you do?
This career opportunity is available at Echelon a division of Santam for a Claims Service Consultant , who will be based in Sunclare Building, 21 Dreyer Street, Claremont, Cape Town.
Qualification and Knowledge
Matric
Must have a minimum of 5-7 years personal lines, short term insurance claims handling experience
Good computer skills
Sound knowledge of Motor and Non-Motor claims processes.

Main functions:
Register claims and make decisions regarding merit
Manage claims in terms of SLA's
Appoint assessors if necessary
Negotiate settlements
Daily estimate updates as well as note attachment to system
Timeous and efficient management of inbox
Liaise with brokers
Prompt feedback and handling of complaints (internal & external)
Assisting with the loading of payments and bordereaux's.
